Henry Ford

                                                       Henry Ford

Henry Ford was born on a farm owned by his father in the city that is now known as Dearborn, Michigan on July 30, 1863. Henry Ford was fascinated by machinery. Instead of becoming a farmer, he went to Detroit to become an apprentice at the Michigan Car Company and a manufacturer of railroad cars. Henry married a woman named Clara Bryant and had a child named Edsel Bryant Ford which would become a huge part of his life. Henry was known for creating the Ford Motor Company, making the model T, and making a successful assembly line. A quote that Ford said, “Whether you think you can or you think you can’t, either way you’re right” means that if you believe you can accomplish something you can. If you do not have faith in yourself you cannot. It’s about believing in yourself. Henry Ford used this quote throughout his life whether it was creating new automobiles, deciding what motor company to stay with, or even beginning to build aircrafts. In the end, he was always right with his decisions. I myself have also experienced this quote once or twice in my life; I’ve made decisions in school which came out to be the right decision and I’ve made decisions on personal issues which also came out to be the right decision. One time I had to choose whether I would go full time in school classes or go part time, and I chose part time, and it has been working for me so far. I also had to make a choice of dropping my dream of going into the Air Force or choosing a new future so far I’m trying to do both. Hopefully, I will be able to enter the Air Force and have a future in criminal justice. Henry Ford is one of the 20th century industry’s founding fathers and will always be known for his creations and great quotes.
